For businesses whose marketing stopped working

People look you up before they buy. Right now, they’re finding nothing.

Before anyone calls, visits or buys, they look you up. They check Google, read your reviews, look at your website, and scroll your social pages. When they find an old website, a handful of reviews, and a Facebook page nobody has posted on since 2022, they don’t call to ask. They pick someone who looks open for business.

They see you Barely They don't

The problem you can't see

Most problems leave a clue. This one leaves nothing.

  • If an ad does badly, you see a bad number.
  • If you miss a call, it shows up in the phone log.
  • If a customer is unhappy, you see a bad review.

But a customer who never found you leaves nothing behind. You can't miss a call that was never made. So the person searches, picks someone else, and your reports look completely normal.

There are streets in your own town where your business never comes up. Nothing tells you which ones.

Where they look you up

Your website is the one thing every one of them reads.

Your customers read it. Google reads it. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google’s own AI read it. Each one uses it to check whether everything else they’ve heard about you is true.

The AI apps don’t remember your business. When someone asks who to call, they look it up right then — and your website is where they go to find out what you do, where you do it, and whether you’re still open.

Reviews and listings get you noticed. Your website is what gets you chosen. If it’s slow, out of date, or saying something different from everything else, the rest of your marketing is working with one hand tied.

Most businesses treat their website like a brochure. It has quietly become the most important thing they own online.

What it looks like

Here is that same search, done from 169 spots around one town.

Google shows different results depending on where the person is standing. So we don't check from your front door. We check from all over your area.

We pick 169 spots on a map. At each one we search the way a customer would, and we write down where you come up. Then we color it in.

169 spots · same town · same search · example pattern

  • Green: top 3Your name is on their screen with a Call button next to it.

  • Yellow: further downYou're on the page, but almost nobody scrolls that far.

  • Grey: not thereTo that person, your business doesn't exist.

Most businesses are number one at their own front door and nowhere at all three miles away. If you only check from the office, you only ever see the good half.

What changed

You used to compete for one spot. Now there are three, and each one works differently.

Ready to buy

The map

Picks who gets the call, or the visit, when someone is ready right now.

Still looking around

Regular search

Picks who gets found while someone is still comparing and working out what they need.

Just asking

The AI apps

ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google’s own AI. Each one searches a different place, and none of them can be paid to name you.

Doing well in one does not mean doing well in the others. All three changed in the last year and a half. Businesses that did great two years ago often slipped the furthest, because what used to work doesn't anymore.

All three check the same things. Your listings on Google, Apple and Microsoft, which say who you are and what you do. Some hidden text on your website that tells the AI apps the same thing. And the website itself, which they all read to check the rest is true.

When those don't match, they can't tell which one is right. So it leaves you out. Nothing breaks. You just stop showing up.

And there's more to it

This is also why your ads don't work as well as they used to.

Same ads. Same town. Same budget as three years ago. Fewer customers. Some of that is cost going up. But something else changed too.

People don't call straight off an ad anymore. They look you up first. They search your name, read your reviews, look at your photos, and a lot of them now just ask an AI app whether you're any good.

That takes about forty seconds, and you're not there for it.

If they find twelve reviews with the newest one from 2022, and a website that's slow on a phone, then your ad did its job and lost the customer anyway. Nobody tells you this happened. The lead just goes quiet.

Ads can fail for lots of reasons. The offer. Who saw it. How fast someone called back. This is just the one nobody checks.

"Our leads got worse" and "our website is old" are usually the same problem.

This is a full-time job, and the rules keep changing.

No single piece is hard. There are just a lot of pieces, they affect each other, and the rules move.

  • Google changes how it picks local businesses several times a year, and rarely says so
  • Each AI app reads your website differently. Showing up in one doesn't mean showing up in the rest
  • Some kinds of business have to pass background and license checks before Google lets them buy the spots above the map
  • Things that helped a year and a half ago can now count against you
  • Fixing one thing can quietly break another, and nothing tells you it happened

Most businesses didn't do anything wrong. They did it right once, three years ago, and nobody has touched it since.

What we do

We start with your website. Then we get it found.

Your website comes first, because it’s the one thing every search engine and AI app reads. Then we handle all three places people find you — the map, regular search, and the AI apps — and keep your listings, reviews and social pages saying the same thing. One team does all of it, in-house. We don't pass your business to another company. You don't manage it. You don't learn it. You don't hear from us unless we need you to decide something.

  • A website built to be readBy your customers, by Google, and by the AI apps.
  • Found across your whole areaNot just at your own front door.
  • Named by the AI appsWhen someone asks a question before they're ready to buy.
  • One report a month, in plain EnglishCalls, forms, visits, sales, and what they were worth. No confusing charts.
  • Social pages that look aliveWe post for you, so anyone who checks sees a business that’s open.
  • Reviews that keep coming inWe make asking for reviews part of your routine, and we reply to the ones that come in.
  • Nothing for you to doNo software to learn. No weekly meetings.
  • Listed everywhere the AI apps lookGoogle, Apple, Microsoft and the rest — all saying the same thing.

You pay once to set it up, then a flat fee each month. No charge per lead. No contract — month to month.
We quote both after your free checkup, so you only pay for the work you actually need.
Every month you see the same map, measured the same way, so you always know where you stand.

Private Client

Want one team running all of it?

Some owners don't want a search company. They want the whole thing handled — website, search, ads, follow-up, reviews — by one team that answers to one number at the end of the month.

That's the Private Client Program. We take a few businesses at a time, by application. It is the most expensive thing we do, and most businesses don't need it.

It’s also where our consulting and AI work lives: business and marketing consulting, Marketing Ecosystem Architecture, and AI Business Architecture.

How Private Client works →

Start here

Find out which streets in your town can't see you.

You'll get your website speed score straight from Google, a 12-point check of your site, whether the AI apps can read you, and a live map showing where you come up around your town. If you only sell online, we check the searches that matter most for your products instead.

Free. About three minutes. We'll follow up once, and you can tell us not to.

For businesses already working with us, we also run paid ads, set up AI that answers your calls, texts and website chat, and train your front desk — once you’re being found. Growth →

Questions we get

The ones people ask most.

What exactly do you do?

The step by step is the part we keep to ourselves. Broadly: your website first, then your listings, your reviews, what the rest of the internet says about you, and your ads — all kept saying the same thing while the rules keep changing. Here’s the full list. How we do it is what you're paying for. If we put it on a website, the business down the road gets it for free, and then it's worth less to you.

Do you only work with clinics?

No. We started with clinics and still do a lot of medical work. But Google judges a hockey shop, a plumber and a law office on the same things. Pick your kind of business from the list above to see what's different for you.

I sell online. Does any of this apply?

Yes, minus the map. You're found the same three ways — regular search, the product results at the top of Google, and the AI apps. Here's what's different online.

How long before anything changes?

Usually the map starts to move within the first few months, but we won't promise a date. Google and the AI apps change their rules without warning, and nobody controls that. Anyone who guarantees you a ranking is guessing. What you get is the same map every month, measured the same way, so you can see for yourself. And there's no contract, so if it isn't working, you can stop.

Do you work with my competitors?

Only one. We take one business of each kind per town — one plumber, one estate lawyer, one skate shop. We can't push two competitors into the same top three and be honest with both of them. In a very big city, like Atlanta, we may take two, but only on opposite sides of town. Nobody drives across a city through traffic for something they can get nearby. If someone like you in your area already works with us, we'll tell you before you spend a minute on it.

I already have a marketing company.

Then run the free checkup. If your map is green across your area, they're doing their job and you should keep them. If it isn't, now you know, and you have it in writing.

What if we're already busy?

Then this is the wrong month for it. Come back when you have room for more work.
